Geckos

Geckos geckos...there everywhere. Tiny little curious creatures that pop their cute clear heads out to see what´s going on. I always thought that geckos were green or a shade of green at least, but these Caribbean geckos are far from that.....they are almost ghost like and resemble jellyfish more in color than lizards. Rye was afraid of them at first but now she thinks their cute and kind of ¨like her little pets¨.

MEATBALLS
Everyday when Rye gets home from school I ask her about her day and ask what she had for lunch. Everday she´s been happy about her lunches and says things like, ¨ we had rice and beans and some yummy bananas (plaintains) or ¨ we had chicken in a spicy sauce.¨ Well today when I asked her, this was her reply: ¨We had some rice and some meatballs that tasted like dog.¨
